We have a very active camera club in Capel, some 2 miles from Ockley, and everybody is very welcome. During the season from September to April it meets most Wednesday evenings in the Capel Village Hall. There are also a number of summer activities where members are encouraged to get their cameras out.
During the season we run a series of competitions between members as well as with other camera clubs throughout Surrey. Despite being a relatively small club Capel has, over the years, performed well against many of the larger clubs such as Guildford, Woking and Epsom. We also have illustrated talks from well known photographers and the occasional teach-in for those who want to learn more about such matters as taking and processing digital photographs.
